Ingredients

For Dough

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • Water as needed
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • Salt to taste
For aloo Filling
  • 3 boiled potatoes (aloo)
  • 1 chopped green chili
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
How to Make Aloo Paratha

First, prepare a soft dough using wheat flour, salt, oil, and water. Cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Now mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl. Add green chili, ginger paste, coriander, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix everything properly to make a spicy filling.

Take a small portion of dough and roll it slightly. Place the potato filling in the center and seal the edges carefully. Roll it gently into a round paratha without breaking it.

Heat a tawa and cook the paratha on medium flame. Apply butter or ghee on both sides and cook until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot with white butter, curd, pickle, or chai for the best taste.
